Getting Comfy with Leggings this Winter!

With the cold dreary days of winter now in full effect there is nothing that a good pair of leggings can't do to make you feel comfy and warm.

My inspiration for writing this post is my new found love affair with fleeced lined winter leggings, as I write this post I am currently snuggled up in my favourite pair from Joe Fresh. Swimwear Summer 2015!

So with the sunny, warm weather finally in our forecast it's time again to show off all that hard work we have been doing in the gym ladies!! I know swimwear is a touchy topic but this summer there are many flattering and fashionable options that go well beyond the two piece bikini. My Favourite Power Salad!

It's always nice to have a simple go to salad recipe, that is able to fill you and fuel you with yummy, fresh ingredients!This salad is a staple for myself and super easy to make! It is a super salad of sorts, with spinach and avocado as the base and grape tomatoes, sunflower seeds and shredded chicken used as the toppings. Below is how you can make this salad for yourself!!

Ingredients:

• 1 bunch of spinach, washed and chopped
• 2 large ripened avocados, peeled and sliced  
• 1 small case of cherry tomatoes, sliced in half's
• Half a cup of crumbled feta cheese
• Half a cup of sunflower seeds
• 1-2 shredded chicken breast(s)
• Your choice of salad dressing ( I like just a drizzle of balsamic vinegar)

Spring 2015 Hair and Beauty Trends

It's always nice to shake-up your day to day makeup look and introduce some new seasonal colours and trends. Below are some of this seasons top make-up and hair trends, exploring with purple (lilac, plum, lavender) hues and playing it simple with our hair (think messy pony-tails, teasing and braids). Also, look for graphic use of eye liner and nail polish, a golden glow and bright lips!  What do you all think? Can you see yourself introducing some of these trends into your spring make-up look? Myself I'm going with the wash of plum over the eyes.. to die for!!! :)
